We are hosting our “7th Annual Vets Dart Tournament” fundraiser on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at Breakaway Café in Meridian. The local dart community holds this post close to our hearts since many are veterans themselves. All money raised is used to purchase necessities that are greatly needed by our Vets, such as winter wear, toiletries, snacks, bus passes etc. We are looking for donations to be used in the raffle and auction at the tournament and would appreciate anything you are able to contribute; goods, services and/or gift cards. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation straight to the VFW Post 63, this can be arranged as well by contacting one of the officers at 208-424-8387. Over the past 6 years we have raised close to $20,000 that has gone directly to assist our local heroes. We don’t just hand the money over; we take a full day and go shopping to purchase all the items that are needed so they can be handed out immediately to those in need.

Good afternoon boys and girls, children of all ages.

As you know, December 7, 2024 is our 7th Annual Veterans Dart fundraising tournament, to help support the VFW Post 63. This year we are excited to announce a few things:

1 - Entry will be $20 per person - this will include $10 to the pot, $8 towards donation and $2 to MO ( do not need to be present to win )
Entry will include 5 raffle tickets AND 2 tickets good for the domestic draft special

Format will be Hi Low Blind W/handicap
01-crk-choice ( to start but format may be changed to all 01 losers side of running behind )

2 - We will have auction and raffle prizes again. So even if you don’t play darts come down and check us out and support our local VFW Post 63. All money raised will go towards the necessities they require, clothing - toiletries - transportation vouchers etc. we go shopping for all these items so if you’d like to tag along this year let us know.

3 - This year we will be having a food truck on site - we would like to welcome Dad Bod’s BBQ to our event. As well as Breakaway Cafe’s awesome kitchen items ( gotta try the tater kegs )

4 - Thanks to our generous vendor, Craig Stein Beverage, we will be having specials running all day long. Coors Light / Banquet / High Noon specials $20 for the first bucket with $17.50 refills and Modelo/Corona buckets for $25 with $22.50 refill. .50 from every seltzer/beer will be donated. They are also providing the 2 free domestic drafts ( included with your sign up and limited to the first 64 people ) as well as FREE SWAG.

5 - Trophies will be provided for 1st place this year. If you haven’t seen them I’ll drop a sneak peak. Have to say they’re pretty cool!
