Some of you have donated Christmas shoeboxes at your local church or at the event center but this is on a whole other level. This is one of the biggest processing centers nationally & processes 10’s of thousands of boxes 📦 daily. Calling on the biggest hearts that want to have a bunch of fun & a lot of laughs volunteering! YES, you can even bring a shoe box or TEN to donate the night of the event if you’d like.
We realize a lot of you will have questions & we will keep updating the invitation and post pictures, maps & video. I would recommend you bring snacks in your car & know that you must be 13 or older to volunteer. Our time slot is 2-6pm because some can do the entire time & some come in for a portion of at the beginning, middle or towards the end for 2 or 3 hours. If you haven't been I can tell you that we have coordinated as many as 150 people before & it is A LOT of fun all while making a worldly impact! You will be asked to watch a 10-12 min training video when you get there, so get there a few min before you want to start. Wear layers & bring tight garden gloves 🧤 if you’d like. The $5 ones at home depot, lowes or harbor freight work well.
"Volunteer Information Forms (Waivers) - Please have each member of your group fill this out IN ADVANCE. Groups that complete online waivers for all members before arriving at the Processing Center and have no unused spots in their reservation earn a FAST PASS to expedite the check-in process. Waivers are submitted online when group members are invited to join a reservation. Please text Mario @ 303-919-6944 with the name, email, address, phone # & birthday & year of the volunteer so we can get you a FAST PASS for when you check-in at the event.
If you have group members who are unable to fill the waiver form out online, it can be downloaded here and brought to the Processing Center when you come. Parents must sign for anyone under the age of 18. All volunteers must be at least 13 years of age to be in the warehouse.
We will likely do a zoom call in September & October to make sure all questions are answered for you. Right we don’t have their available yet.
If we can get enough interest, We will create a second event date.
