- **Event Description**: On Sunday December 14th, the OWLs will visit the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse (59 West Main St, Meriden) for our last 2025 event.

On our first visit to this playhouse we will see "One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall".  This story follows eight intertwined stories in a Mid-western mall on the last day of shopping before the holiday. A diverse cast of characters - from a lovesick mall Santa to an overeager mall cop, from a pair of brainy misfit teenagers to a pair of battling actors in a production of A Christmas Carol, from a petulant college freshman to a pair of newlyweds - navigate first meetings, second chances, and last minute choices.

The deadline for signing up for this holiday OWL event is December 5th.  Tickets are limited so sign up now.

If you are interested in attending this performance, please send your check for $20 to Mona Perlot, 473 Wood Hill Rd., Cheshire, Ct. 06410. The check should also be made out to our treasurer, Mona.

After the show, we will travel to Close Harbor Restaurant in Plantsville for dinner.
