- **Event Description**: Join us as we celebrate 10 years of the Olde Church Acoustic Series!  We will have a few surprises to remember our late founder Mike Wilcox, and we are particularly honored to have Beppe Gambetta headlining this special anniversary event.  

Beppe is a guitarist, vocalist, researcher and composer born in Genova, Italy who developed a style of concert presentation that brings American and European Roots together in one voice.  In his unique approach, Gambetta blends energetic grooves with passionate melodies, giving new life to sources from different times, periods and places.  In addition, the original music he composes gives contemporary influences to traditional roots music. 

The Washington Post describes Beppe as “…spinning a thick weave that sometimes calls to mind what a duet by Doc Watson and Leo Kottke might sound like.” 

Opening for Beppe will be The Auburn Mode - a cornerstone of Hartford, CT's music scene. With influences as diverse as the list of acts they support, their music ranges from poignant and evocative to light and whimsical...an original fusion of progressive and energetic folk pop.

In our continuing spirit of offering great music without ticket hassles, we accept donations at the door for entry. Free parking available in the adjacent garage and affordable dinner options are offered by our fabulous church ladies!  Thanks to all who have supported us for a decade!
