AUDITIONS for "A Christmas Blessing"

✨We are looking for talented male and female vocalists and actors who can also execute simple choreography (age 18 and up) to perform in our fun-filled Christmas production.

We are an all-volunteer community theatre that offers a professional, family-friendly and team-centered environment. We would love to add some new talent to our group!

🎬Auditions will take place in person at Star Theatre on Sunday, September 28th from 2-6 pm.
For the audition, please prepare approx. 2 minutes of a song that best showcases your voice ( please bring your downloaded backing track on your phone with you ). Also, you will be asked to do cold readings from the script. A final list of any schedule conflicts must be given at the time of audition. (casting priority will be given to those who do not have conflicts).
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, October 28th and will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-9:00 pm AND every Saturday, from 10-4 pm. (NO REHEARSAL 11/27 OR 11/29). Tech week is Monday, December 1 - Thursday, December 4 from 6-10 pm.

🎶SHOW SYNOPSIS: This heartwarming holiday musical tells the story of Jimmy, a heavenly angel disguised as a humble maintenance man, sent on a divine mission to help a group of struggling souls just in time for Christmas. The unlikely group is preparing to represent their church in a gingerbread house competition—but what they really need is a spiritual transformation.
Among them is Dottie Gotrocks, a wealthy but lonely woman resigned to a future as an old maid; a young woman losing faith in love as her boyfriend refuses to commit; Nanny Biscuits, an eccentric dog-lover hiding a mistake that could ruin everything; a Pastor caught in deception that threatens his marriage; and a foster child yearning for a place to finally call home.
As Jimmy works behind the scenes, miracles begin to unfold—hearts are softened, secrets revealed, and lives forever changed. With touching music, stunning sets and costumes, and a powerful message of hope and redemption, "A Christmas Blessing" will fill your heart with joy and remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.
