Whether you're new to gardening or looking to level-up your horticulture game, great garden design is the tool for you!
If you:
-want gardening to be a sustainable part of your life, rather than an expensive hobby that fizzles out by July;
-aren't sure which plants will work best where, or how many;
-want to keep better track of crop rotation and notes year-to-year
-are looking for inspiration for unique garden themes like pollinator-friendly, salsa garden, sensory garden, edible flowers, and more
-want recommendations for best organic varieties, best practices in food safety, and low/no till techniques that work
...then this workshop is the place for you!
Get the scoop from a farmer with over a decade of experience in both rural and urban farming.
You'll leave with a to-scale base map of your growing space, along with tracing paper to overlay information like crops, beds, infrastructure, compost, play/seating area, etc.
We are excited to offer this workshop at the beautiful Mequon Outpost Coop location, in the community room by the cafe. Please feel free to shop their seed selection on display, snacks, and groceries before or after the workshop!
Offered on a sliding-scale suggested donation of $10-$50. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please send your donation via venmo: @rox-root
