It was never meant to be a traditional festival. It was created as a meeting point – a place where friendships could grow, ideas could be be shared, and our music and culture could be experienced together. Over the years, GZTC has never been tied to a single location. It has travelled, evolved and found a home in different places, while always staying true to the same idea: bringing people together. Wherever GZTC takes place, it is the people who make it feel like home. That simple idea has grown into an international network of friends, DJs, live acts, artists, crews and supporters. GZTC has never been about one person, one crew or one location. It has always been about the people who contribute their time, creativity, passion and energy to keep this spirit alive. Since 2017, Krach vom Fach has become an important part of that journey. What began as a close collaboration has grown into a strong partnership, with both projects contributing their own strengths, experience and identity. Let’s celebrate this anniversary together, look out for one another, and keep the GZTC spirit alive for many years to come. ———— 15 Jahre Ground Zero Techno Camp Kurze Geschichte und Bedeutung Vor fünfzehn Jahren entstand das GZTC aus einer einfachen Idee: Menschen zusammenzubringen, die sich über Jahre hinweg aus dem Internet kannten, aber nie einen wirklichen Ort hatten, um sich persönlich zu treffen. Es war nie als klassisches Festival gedacht. Von Anfang an sollte es ein Treffpunkt sein – ein Ort, an dem Freundschaften entstehen und wachsen, Ideen ausgetauscht sowie unsere Musik und Kultur gemeinsam erlebt werden können. Im Laufe der Jahre war das GZTC nie an einen festen Ort gebunden. Es ist gewandert, hat sich weiterentwickelt und an verschiedenen Orten ein Zuhause gefunden, ohne dabei jemals seine ursprüngliche Idee zu verlieren: Menschen zusammenzubringen. Ganz gleich, wo das GZTC stattfindet – erst die Menschen machen diesen Ort zu einem Zuhause. Aus dieser einfachen Idee ist ein internationales Netzwerk aus Freunden, DJs, Live-Acts, Künstlern, Crews und Unterstützern entstanden. Beim GZTC ging es nie um eine einzelne Person, eine einzelne Crew oder einen bestimmten Veranstaltungsort. Es ging und geht immer um die Menschen, die ihre Zeit, Kreativität, Leidenschaft und Energie einbringen, um diesen besonderen Geist am Leben zu erhalten. Seit 2017 ist Krach vom Fach ein wichtiger Teil dieser Geschichte.
