Join artist/instructor Lucy Thomas for a fun, weekend painting class.
In "My Five Favorite Flowers: Florals and Negative Space" acrylic painting class, I’ll show you how I paint florals in loose expressive style. We will paint some specific flowers that I like and also work from small fresh flower arrangement. We can also use our imaginations to add any finishing touches. I primarily use a technique called negative space painting. So, I’ll show you how to do this as we paint our florals.
This is not a class on realistic painting and drawing ability/experience is not necessary.
Class is limited to 10 students and tuition is $195. A supply list will be sent to you upon registration. To register, email mentoneartscenter@gmail.com or call 256-674-3366.
