# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Transcribe-a-thon
- **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 23 Jun, 2026 at 02:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Do you like historical records? If so, join us at the library as we transcribe records from the American Revolutionary era through the Library of Congress' By the People campaign. We will develop technological skills while reading about the lives of those who lived 250 years ago.

Please bring a tablet or laptop with you to transcribe. Because we will be looking at old records in a digital manner, a smaller screen may make transcribing more difficult.

A special thanks to the Menomonee Falls Library Friends for sponsoring this event to make it possible.
