- **Event Description**: Curious about Rally but not sure where to start? This 6 week class introduces teams to the sport of Rally Obedience by teaching both the rules and the real-life skills needed to perform them successfully.
You’ll learn how Rally works, how to read and understand signs, and how to build the foundation behaviors each station requires. We break skills down step-by-step so dogs and handlers can gain confidence, clarity, and teamwork before ever worrying about a full course. Skills covered include focused heeling, position changes, turns, fronts, finishes, and handler communication.

This class is supportive, low-pressure, and beginner friendly. Dogs progress at their own pace while handlers learn how to guide, cue, and reinforce behaviors effectively. By the end of the course, teams will be able to perform short Rally sequences with understanding and confidence.

Whether your goal is to compete, earn titles, or simply build advanced communication and engagement with your dog, this class provides a structured and encouraging introduction to the sport.

Prerequisite: Completion of one of our group classes, private training, another local obedience class, or a CGC title.
