Curious about dog-powered sports but not sure where to start? This introductory workshop explores the exciting world of dryland and snow mushing in a way that’s approachable, safe, and beginner-friendly.

We’ll cover the basics of equipment, safety, and how to teach dogs when pulling is appropriate — without turning everyday walks into a tug-of-war. Whether you’re just curious or thinking about dipping a toe into the sport, this workshop is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and a solid foundation.

No experience required — just a dog who enjoys moving and a handler who’s ready to learn something new together!
