Altlawns provides seeds, dirt and jugs. Everything you need to create winter sowing containers. You will take these home, put them outside in the snow. You'll move them to the sun after they stratify. In the spring they may need some water.
The goal is to have you grow plants for yourself. We want you to provide us with photos and feedback about how it went for you. Bring the sprouting jugs back in May. You will be able to trade plants for different species that your Altlawns community winter sowed - everyone goes home with trays of plants!

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. At 7:30 we will start cleaning up and getting ready for close.

Note: the visitor center doors will be locked at 6pm for safety of all. If you will be arriving late, you will need to grab our attention in the classroom, phone me or phone a friend to open the door for you. Please arrive on time if possible.
