Hoof-It for Heroes is a 2.2-mile challenge to raise awareness of the 22 veterans and active military who die by suicide each day. The challenge begins on Sunday, November 8th and continues virtually for 22 days, ending on November 30th.  An in-person 2.2-mile walk/run at EquiCenter on November 8th will launch the challenge. 100% of the proceeds from the event go directly to EquiCenter's Veteran programs.

In-Person Event

November 8th I 10:30 am I at EquiCenter

Walk or run 2.2 miles on our beautiful trails at EquiCenter! Please arrive at EquiCenter at 10:30 am on Sunday, November 8th for check-in. After check-in, we will have an opening ceremony led by the Honeoye Falls American Legion and the Marine Corps. The walk/run will begin at 11:11 am in remembrance of World War I ending at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.  Complimentary post-event refreshments will be available. Humans only please, horses and dogs may take part virtually!

Participate Virtually

November 8 - November 30 I Anytime I Anywhere

Beginning November 8th, and continuing for the next 22 days (November 30th), EquiCenter invites you to complete 2.2 miles virtually. Make sure to take a photo of yourself doing your 2.2 miles! Post your pics and tag EquiCenter or send them to Beth Flannigan at bflannigan@equicenterny.org to be featured on our social media platforms.​
