Writing, listening, discussing, laughing, and relaxing in a safe space shared by kindred spirits. We'll be using writing prompts, themes, and activities to create, explore, and excavate. There will also be free time for self-reflection, time in nature, and networking. Who should attend? Any nurse or student nurse (RN, LPN/LVN, APN) whether employed, retired, or in transition who is interested in writing, storytelling, journaling, self-expression, and self-discovery. This retreat is for experienced and novice writers alike who would like to explore and expand their own voices. How do I get there? Villa Pauline is easily accessible by car from NJ, NY, PA, and other nearby states. If you are flying in, Newark Liberty International Airport is the nearest major airport. It is about 40 minutes away from the venue by car. I can recommend several car and airport shuttle services between the airport and the venue. What do I need to bring? A notebook for writing activities and for taking notes. Bring several good pens too! Even if you normally use electronic writing, we’ll be writing by hand at this retreat.
