Are you intimidated by pie pastry? Yearn to be able to whip up a seasonal fruit pie from scratch? This class is for you!

Learn how to make a scrumptious apple pie topped with lattice... just in time for Thanksgiving!

In this class you'll:

• learn the secrets of making flaky all-butter pie pastry from scratch and by hand!
• roll out dough, crimp pie edges, and lattice dough for a top crust
• practice knife skills (and safety!) while you prepare your fruit filling
• have fun with other awesome students learning & baking together
• learn pro tips you can apply to a variety of similar recipes
• take home a ready-to-bake pie (you can bake it right when you get home or save in the freezer for later!) as well as the recipes for everything you made in class

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES

Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!

Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company. (We occasionally offer classes for younger bakers and those are clearly marked as such).

Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!

What about cancellations? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. If Muddy's must cancel the event for any reason, we will inform you asap and fully refund your ticket.
