Mighty Flea Circus rolls into Hernando’s Hideaway on Friday, April 24 at 8PM, bringing their “ Soul Shakin' Swingabilly” sound and a stage show that’s as wild as it is tight.

Part rockabilly, part swing, this high energy trio delivers originals and reimagined classics with campy flair and serious chops. In 2021, they won “Best New Original Rockabilly Song in the World” for their track “Wrecking Ball,” later produced by Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats - proof that behind the spectacle is the real deal.


Up front and center, Chrystine commands her standup drum kit like a rhythm-wrangling ringmaster, belting out lead vocals between snare cracks that snap like firecrackers. Stingray slings his guitar low and mean, trading lead vocals and six-string sparks that zigzag through the room like musical lightning. Anchoring the frenzy, Kenny Z wrestles his upright bass into a percussive dance, thumping, slapping, and harmonizing with a grin that says he knows exactly how much trouble they’re about to cause. What they bring to the stage is not just rockabilly. It is a full tilt carnival of swing, jump blues, and backbeat bravado
