- **Event Description**: A GOTR 5K is a community event where all our GOTR teams come together to celebrate the completion of their program. They’ve been training hard to run or walk their 5K (3.1 miles) AND you’re invited to join in the festivities and 5K event!

All pre-race activities take place at the University of Memphis Alumni Mall, beginning at 12:30PM. Our 5K Fun Zone has loads of fantastic activities for your whole family this Spring, including: blinging your bib with rhinestones and stickers; GOTR Glam with glitter hair; a nail bar with GOTR colors courtesy of Color Street; face paint and GOTR tattoos for all; an inspiration station to write thank-you and congratulations notes; a fabulous photo booth; and so much more! We'll jam out with Coach Lisa, as she leads us in our warm up, with tunes by DJ Gee Honey. These activities are open to the entire community and are one of the biggest shows of girl power in the 901!

Our 5K is non-competitive and not timed. It is all about finishing your race at your pace, and all forms of movement are welcome.
