The COIN Café is a relaxed and welcoming space where neighbors, dreamers, and doers come together to learn about cooperative businesses and envision new possibilities for their communities.

Think of it like a laid-back introduction: you and your co-op partners meet the folks behind The Big We’s Co-op Opportunity for Inclusive Neighborhoods (COIN) program, connect with others who care about building community ownership and governance, and get a first taste of what it means to own and grow a co-op.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Learn the basics about co-ops, what they are, how they work, and why they’re changing the game for communities that look like ours.

• Meet new people who are also passionate about starting or strengthening businesses rooted in community.

• Get the inside scoop on the 16-week COIN accelerator program and how it can support your vision.
• Enjoy conversation, connection, and possibility in a relaxed, café-style atmosphere.

No experience? No problem. You don’t need a business plan, training, or credentials to join us. That’s exactly what COIN is here for. All you need is curiosity, vision, and a desire to build something powerful with others.
