Creative Journaling Workshop: New Year Reflection & Intention Setting

This workshop offers a gentle new-year reset - using journaling, collage, and guided meditation to reflect on the past and consciously shape the year ahead.

In this relaxing 2 hour session, you will learn how to build a writing practice. Sam will guide you through various techniques of journaling, including how to create collage cards, to help you unleash your inner artist and express yourself on the pages of your journal. As well writing, Sam will also delve into approaches that help us explore our senses and reflect on our memories.

Whether you're a seasoned journaler or just starting out, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore their creativity through writing, drawing, and mixed media.

You will leave the session with your very own notebook journal to begin you're journaling journey. No materials needed, unless you want to bring your own craft things with you.

About Sam

Sam is an artist and qualified Holistic Therapist with over 20 years experience. Being creative and using natural therapies together are her loves. She runs creative workshops for both adults and children in Leicestershire. Sam makes handcut collages out of old books and magazines and loves rummaging around charity shops and vintage markets looking for ideas. She has her first solo exhibition of her collages at Charnwood Arts in early 2025 and is currently designing a book of her designs and the stories that go with them. www.veryberry.uk

Parking is available in The Bell Centre Car Park and is free from 6pm. Please use the second car park entrance on St Marys Way.
