Start your watercolour journey in a friendly and supportive space! This beginner-friendly class will introduce you to the essential foundations of watercolour painting. You’ll explore the core techniques of:

• Wet on Wet – blending colours with soft, flowing edges
• Wet on Dry – crisp details and layering
• Wet on Damp – a balance of control and fluidity
• Watercolour Washes – creating smooth backgrounds and gradients

No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity!

Do I need to bring anything?No, all art materials are provided. Just bring yourself and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little splash of paint on.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?Yes! This class is designed for those with little to no watercolour experience.

How many participants are in the class?Spots are limited to 6 participants to ensure everyone gets personal guidance.

What happens if I can’t attend?Tickets are transferable—please contact us to reschedule into another workshop if needed.

1. Enter Melbourne Central via Swanston St, La Trobe St, or Elizabeth St.
2. Head to Level 1 and find the CUE store (Shop 123/211 La Trobe St).
3. Walk a little further down the corridor.
4. You’ll see "The Between" Skybridge — a glass bridge linking Melbourne Central to Emporium Melbourne over Lonsdale Street.
