Discover the latest breakthroughs, the promise of tailored therapies, and how these emerging approaches are bringing us closer to more effective — and more compassionate — care for people living with brain cancer.BioProfessor Misty Jenkins AO is an NHMRC Investigator Fellow and Laboratory Head in the Personalised Oncology Division at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). She leads the Immunotherapy Program and is Co‑Director of Research Strategy at the Brain Cancer Centre. Her research focuses on identifying novel immunotherapy targets and developing CAR T cell therapies for adult and paediatric brain cancers, integrating high‑throughput screening, molecular engineering, advanced microscopy and mouse models. Professor Jenkins completed her PhD with Nobel Laureate Peter Doherty and postdoctoral training at Oxford, Cambridge and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
