Phil Coyne and The Wayward Aces bring the raw intensity of Chicago blues together with rockabilly swing and garage surf drive, delivering a sound both powerful and infectious. Known for their high-energy, full-throttle live performances perfected around Melbourne’s live music circuit, legendary gigs and festivals like The Blues Train, Bruthen Blues n Roots and Mitchell Creek Rocking Blues festival.
Their 2023 EP Sound and Fury hit the charts in Australia and the US, and they were finalists for Band of the Year at the VicTas Blues Awards. Following this, their 2024 self-titled album debuted to rave reviews and chart success, cementing them as a rising force in the blues scene.
