Moontide is back in NAARM/Melbourne with a new live ensemble show.
Bringing together their biggest show yet, the 4-piece finish their summer run of shows at the beloved Nightcat!
Expect their blend of lush, trippy electronic poetic bliss, showcasing mostly new music out later in 2026. After rave reviews from their closing set on The Grove stage at Strawberry Fields and tours across Australia, the band look forward to expanding the live show for their home audience.
Support comes from local legends and 9-piece band AUSECUMA BEATS (Music In Exile) as well as NEEKO, with LEELU taking over the decks between acts. Prepare to bend your mind and body to a cross-cultural blend of funk to trip to.

Ausecuma Beats:
Ausecuma Beats are more than just a band, they are a philosophy. Led by their fearless bandleader and master djembe player, Boubacar Gaye, the nine-strong ensemble demonstrate what can happen when a group of artists come together based on an idea – in this case, the idea of place, of transplanting cultural heritage into a contemporary city. The band showcase what happens when people from the farthest flung corners of the world find themselves living shoulder to shoulder in a new environment. The result – nine unique individuals, each masters of their own craft and with their own personal histories, working together to create something exciting. And exciting it is – this is the sound of our community. Look! There on the stage – Ausecuma Beats are performing for us. We are all part of the same family.

NEEKO:
Naarm/Melbourne-born singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Neeko unveils her new single 'FLOWERS TO MY DOOR // SWORD OF SACRIFICE', out Wednesday 26 November via RouteNote.
Blending cinematic trip-hop textures with raw emotional storytelling, this song marks a bold step forward for Neeko as both a writer and producer.
Recorded between her self-built studio in rural Australia and Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne and co-produced with Callum Edwards, this next chapter showcases Neeko’s evolution as a producer. With sonic nods to Portishead, Massive Attack, Four Tet and Lana Del Rey, Neeko weaves together a deeply personal narrative of heartbreak, rage and surrender. The track explores the aftermath of a relationship rupture, a moment of reckoning between love, loss and reclamation.
