2026 marks 10-years since the passing of the late Di Apprentice who passed in tragic circumstances on January 5th 2016. Although it was an extremely difficult time, it was also a time when our whole community came together and literally saved Jungle City. To honor the extraordinary talent of 'The African General' Di Apprentice, and those in our community who stepped up and selflessly kept Jungle City alive during this difficult time, we are dedicating our Moomba Parade performance to YOU. 'The General Army' will form once again and dance to original music by Di Apprentice - remixed with a twist 2026 Amapiano Vibez. This project will also aim to raise awareness about how important community is in supporting those struggling with mental health, drug addiction and in suicide prevention.
