A true pioneer of Black-centric house and techno, Moodymann (aka Kenny Dixon Jr) emerged in the 90s with a sound that blurred the lines between underground and mainstream, mixing live samples from hip-hop, jazz, soul and funk.
This is a rare chance to catch a genuine electronic music legend in full flight — for free, right here in Melbourne.
Joining him is Melbourne’s own DJ Jnett — tastemaker, selector and local icon whose sets have defined the city’s dance sound for over two decades. She’ll set the tone with deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms and pure dancefloor magic.
