Country-inspired folk artist Lara Joy uses songwriting to explore her deepest and most mysterious experiences. Blurring the line between the lived and the imagined, she draws on themes of love, longing, disaffection and the natural world to craft soulful and melodic songs that appeal to the tender heart. Join her at The Tote for an evening of song and storytelling, on voice and acoustic guitar; she is supported by Hannah Harding and Adam Mendum.

Hannah Harding, the dynamic frontwoman of indie-rock outfit Hannah and the Heartstrings, steps into the spotlight for a rare solo acoustic performance. Known for her powerful voice and introspective songwriting, Hannah takes this opportunity to present her music in its purest form. This intimate setting strips back the arrangements, emphasizing the raw, poetic storytelling and emotional depth that underpin her music.

Adam Mendum is a Melbourne based singer song-writer, specialising in acoustic finger-style folk music with an emphasis on intimacy and authenticity. Inspired by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov and Hozier, Adam aims to draw on his life's experiences, and share them from the heart.
