Michelle Nicolle is a multi award-winning jazz vocalist regarded as Australia’s finest exponent of the genre. Over the past 25 years she has performed at major jazz festivals and clubs throughout Australia and internationally. Michelle’s quartet includes Ronny Ferella on drums, Tom Lee on bass and Geoff Hughes on guitar.Taking place in the Ballroom at Government House, it is also an opportunity to experience the spectacular architecture of this historic building. Guests will be welcomed to explore the State Apartments at the conclusion of the performance.The Governor looks forward to welcoming you to Government House for this impressive performance in one of Victoria’s most iconic buildings.Event information:· Attendance is free, although registration is essential – all attendees full names must be registered to attend, including children. If registering for a friend to attend, please register their name. Multiple registrations under one name are NOT permitted. Photo ID is required to access this event, and registered name must match name of photo ID.· Gates open at 5.15 pm. Official Proceedings commence at 6:00 pm. Event concludes at approximatly 7.30 pm.· Guests may be photographed during the event and photos may be published online.· Dress is smart casual.Entry requirements:· Entrance to Government House is via Government House Drive, off St Kilda Road.· Parking is available within the grounds of Government House.· Photographic identification is required to gain entry for persons aged above 18.· Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please register children separately.
