What if there were pig fairy godmothers? Step into a world of imagination where fairytales get a delightful twist in this fantastical and playful storytelling workshop. Kids will explore classic fairytales like Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and Three Billy Goats Gruff – then flip them on their head with creativity, wonder, music and movement.    Together with host Emma Chandler, you’ll use everyday objects like blankets, chairs and colanders to build troll bridges, little pigs’ houses and more.  Let your imagination guide you and discover what happens when we start to change stories.  Perfect for kids aged 5-10. Book your tickets now. Presented by Midsumma Festival and State Library Victoria, supported by Rainbow Families Switchboard. About Emma Chandler Em Chandler (she/her) is a proud trans storyteller and theatre-maker primarily working in Naarm, previously based in Ballarat. With over a decade of experience working with kids and their adults, Emma adores connecting with others through kindness and wonder. She brings her unique repertoire of spells, stories and songs to every situation - from community events to major festivals such as Firelight and Midsumma.   In 2023, she was cast in Lemony S Puppet Theatre’s CROW KID for its Australian and international premieres. Having worked with acclaimed theatre-makers Anthony Crowley, Alister Smith, and A Blanck Canvas, Em’s show Once Upon a Rhyme won Best Children’s Show at the Melbourne Magic Festival (2024).
