Continuum 17: Horizons

Continuum is Melbourne’s annual fan run speculative fiction and pop culture convention. Continuum celebrates creativity across genres and media. Our aim each year is to provide a regional convention where writers, artists, readers and film/TV buffs of all kinds can get together for a weekend of panel discussions, entertainment, and social fun.

Continuum is run on a not-for-profit basis and all revenue goes towards venue and equipment hire, transport and accommodation for our guests, and other convention specific expenses. Continuum conventions are supported by the Continuum Foundation.

Continuum 17: Horizons is Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th of May, 2025 at the Jasper hotel (489 Elizabeth St, Melbourne).

Our first Guest of Honour for Continuum 17 is... Maria Lewis!

She is a best-selling author, screenwriter, film curator and pop culture etymologist currently based in Australia and has built an international reputation as a storyteller across a diverse range of mediums.

Our second Guest of Honour for Continuum 17 is... Amie Kaufman!

She is a NYT and internationally bestselling author, whose multi-award winning work is published in nearly thirty languages. Her latest book is The Isles of the Gods.
