Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Coal Miner’s Daughter show at the Athenaeum Theatre has been moved to Saturday, 19th of December.
All pre-purchased tickets are valid for this performance and we’d love for you to support the industry in these uncertain and fragile times, by keeping your tickets and joining us at the show.
However, we understand these new dates may not suit all patrons and ticket refunds will be honoured. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled show date, please contact your venue or ticketing agency by 30 April 2020.
Thank you for your patience and don’t put your cowboy hats away just yet ?
Back by popular demand!
Multi awarded, look alike songstress, Amber Joy Poulton, brings Coal Miner’s Daughter – the mega-hits and stories of inspirational pioneer and superstar Loretta Lynn, to VIC this June, following a sold-out national tour run in 2017.
Coal Miner’s Daughter includes ‘friends’ Lizzie Moore as Patsy Cline and Denis Surmon as Conway Twitty accompanied by The Holy Men, in this sensational musical tribute to three legends.
Weaving anecdotes and comedy through a traditional and contemporary catalogue of hits, including Coal Miner’s Daughter, Don’t Come Home A’Drinkin’ With Lovin’ On Your Mind, I Fall To Pieces, You Ain’t Woman Enough To Take My Man, Crazy, Silver Threads and Golden Needles, Walkin’ After Midnight, You’re Lookin’ At Country, One’s On The Way, Stand By Your Man, After The Fire Is Gone and more, this is a show not to be missed!
