Washington Irving once said, 'those who drink beer, will think beer', and BASA thinks beer!!
B.A.S.A. is a group of people who get together to really appreciate the brewing, of, a beer.
"To appreciate the comradeship and fellowship that comes with getting together, ah… WE ARE NOT BOOZERS, WE ENJOY, A BEER!!"

In 1968, BASA hosted their first event, a two day affair dedicated to the appreciation of beer, and the first All-Australian beer festival, that they believed would be a great leap forward for the association.
55 years later, and we here at Chillybin-Admin (AKA, BASA 2.0) are here to replicate this inaugural celebration.... well at least the judging and the "formal" dinner-party part anyway.
There will be a 3 course beer inspired menu.
There will be blind Australian lager tastings.
There will be judging, of beers, in multiple rounds.
And by golly gosh, there will be a 'beer selectors' round, with a lacquered brick trophy to take home!!
(till next year, at least, winners names will be engraved permanently)*
Please note: While this is can event extended to the public, it is a "Chillybin member" preference system in terms of numbers, and I'd appreciate a DM regarding details if you have a plus one (or more)... with exception to partners, who you can just let me know about.
Capacity is probably about 24, give or take, but doubt we'll get to that :D
