A Perfectly Normal Show

Picture it: The sun is shining on a perfect Spring evening. Nonno is tending to the garden, and fresh sheets hang on the washing line. Nonne comes out to finish another load of laundry. There is an age-old attraction and before you unfolds the most beautifully intimate scene of mature, sweet love.

It's so beautiful your eyes water, then things start to get a little bit silly.

Meatballs start flying as Nonne recounts the good old days. She shares an old recipe from the soviet era when all the Wetslavian soldiers had to defend themselves was a bag of pasta and some hot Bolognese sauce.

Then you're transported to the 80s. It's sweaty. It's hot. Nonne and Nonno are doing the Richard Simmons Sizzle.

You think it's time for a cool-down but things just heat up further when Nonno returns from the Body Shop and treats you to some of the finest body building since Dr Frankenstein. You don't remember this catalogue special and neither does Nonne. Everyone is left wondering where Nonno got that body from.

Somewhere along the way the show finished and you're wondering if that was Perfectly Normal, and is that really a pair of Heterosexuals?
And the answer is yes, in an increasing number of countries the two performers you saw are a *legally defined* heterosexual couple going about their lives just like anybody else.

It's Golden Girls meets Monty Python.
