What can our political past teach us about the moment we are in now?Join political historian Professor Paul Strangio and political scientist and media historian Professor Sally Young for a conversation moderated by political correspondent at the Australian Financial Review, Sumeyya Ilanbey, about the stories Australia remembers, the stories it forgets, and the political consequences of both. Following the discussion, the four books shortlisted for the 2026 Award will be announced.
