Mark your calendars for 29th July 2026 and join us for a fun day celebrating the world's largest cat!

Tigers are magnificent, but they are endangered, with only about 4,000 individuals left in the wilds of Asia. As apex predators, they are vital to their entire ecosystems. They control prey populations, helping limit the spread of disease, preventing overgrazing and therefore protecting forests. 

Throughout the day, we will be raising funds for the WildCats Conservation Alliance (www.conservewildcats.org), an initiative by the Zoological Society of London and the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation that channels public and zoo support directly into wild tiger and Amur leopard conservation projects.

What's on:

? Drop-in Craft Session (12:15pm): Bring the whole family over to the Education and Discovery Centre to get creative with some tiger-themed crafts.

? Keeper Tiger Talk (2:00pm): Meet the Keeper by the tiger habitat to learn all about Kelabu, the resident tiger, as well as her counterparts out in the wild.

? Charity Stalls: Shop a selection of Shepreth Wildlife Conservation and tiger-themed goodies to help us raise funds for tiger conservation in Asia.

? Kids' Games & Activities: Let the young ones have fun with games where they can learn all about these majestic big cats and how we can help protect them.

? Cake Stand: Treat yourself to some delicious bites by Lucy from Simply Gluten Free (www.instagram.com/simply_gluten.free), with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the WildCats Conservation Alliance.

? Auction: Place your bids and be in with a chance of winning an incredible Animal Experience to enjoy on the very same day!
