Calke Explore and Limestone Quarry 5.5 miles

Meeting at the Calke Explore car park ( near the overflow entrance at the rear ) we will walk up to the old tramway before exploring the old Limestone Quarry begore returning over the fields and woods to Calke Abbey.

Here we will take a 25 minute break before visiting the old church and walled gardens before using the gardeners tunnel to visit the grotto.

From there we will visit the Deer enclosure before making our way back to the car park.

This is about 5.8 miles in total but you can miss out the chutch and gardens which will male it more like 4.4 miles
