Celebrating 40 Years of Clay, Culture, and Community @ Medalta

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd (10am - 5pm) @ Medalta in the Historic Clay District for a FREE, family-friendly celebration! This is community initiative is part of our “Legacy Series”, marking 40 years of The Friends of Medalta Society (FOMS) in 2026.

🎨 Hands-on clay activities & education showcase�

🏛 Roaming tours throughout the museum�(no need to book ahead)

🏺 Live clay demonstrations from our production�team

🐎 Outdoor community clay project (yes, you get to add your own piece!)�

🖼 Explore the Shaw Centre for Contemporary Ceramics and meet our current artists in residence�

📸 Specially decorated kiln selfie station�

🎲 Giant yard games in the courtyard (thanks to Grand Rental Station!)�

🍻 Paid bar on site (with a new, surprise collaboration launching!)

No registration is required for this event. Drop in anytime between 10am and 5pm to explore the museum with us!
