Logistics

-Dates: June 15–19
-Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM daily
-For: Students entering grades 8–12 (all instruments welcome); intermediate to
advanced level
-Location: Campbell AME Church of Media - 33 W 3rd Street, 19063. 
-Bring: instrument, notebook, water bottle; music provided.

Final mini-concert Friday at 2:30 PM — family & friends welcome.

Curriculum:

-Explore Small-Group Jazz: tight ensemble playing, arrangements, and
communication
-Learn go-to standards: essential repertoire every musician should know
-Build improvisational skills: soloing basics, phrasing, and confidence
-Develop critical listening: hearing form, harmony, and groove in real time
-Play in a band: daily rehearsal time culminating in a mini concert
