This method requires only very simple tools, but can create an enormous variety of textiles. For modern day crafters, it combines versatility with portability and low cost - the perfect way to try out weaving when you don't have space for a big loom!
In this two-session class, we will learn the basic mechanics of using a backstrap loom to produce a warp-faced project. We'll go through all the steps, starting with winding the warp and setting up the heddles, to troubleshooting as you weave. All materials and equipment will be provided, and you can even keep your loom after the class ends.
