Join us for an enchanting winter evening under the stars at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge as we gather to view one of the most dazzling celestial events of the year—the Geminids Meteor Shower! Famous for its bright, multicolored meteors and high hourly rates, the Geminids are considered one of the best annual showers and promise a breathtaking display.
Bring your blankets, warm layers, lawn chairs, and binoculars, and get cozy beneath the dark skies of the refuge for a peaceful night of stargazing. Our Educators will share fascinating facts about the Geminids, meteors, and the winter night sky, along with tips for catching the most shooting stars.
This program begins at 8:00pm and runs 1hr+ depending on our findings, not to exceed 90 minutes. This session is adults only. $15/adult. Members save 10%. 20 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
