- **Event Description**: In this intermediate class, local artist John Toffey will provide tips and tricks for drawing Cedar Run’s resident animals on the go while you tour our Wildlife Housing Area with one of our staff. On your tour, you’ll encounter reptiles, birds, and mammals, all of whom are native species to New Jersey. In the last half hour of your tour, you’ll get the chance to meet one of Cedar Run’s reptiles up close for a more intimate sketching experience.

This is not a beginner class. This program is perfect for somewhat experienced artists hoping to practice fast-paced sketching, drawing from life, nature and wildlife sketching, and sketching on the go. Some drawing and sketching experience is recommended, as this class is designed for intermediate artists.

Art materials are not provided. Artists will be responsible for bringing their own sketchbooks and drawing materials. A sturdy, easy to hold sketchbook is recommended, as we will be on our feet for the majority of the program.

$25/artist. Members save 10%! 15 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
