SAND, SNOW, OR SHINE — It’s Clean Up Time! ❄️☀️
The dunes are calling! Join the Silver Lake Recreation Association for our 2026 Spring Dune Clean Up and help us get the park ready for another incredible season. We partner with the DNR to keep our dunes beautiful, but we can't do it without YOU.
📅 WHEN: Saturday, March 28, 2026
🕛 TIME: Noon – 2:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Silver Lake State Park ORV Area (Check-in at 11:30 AM at Main Entrance)
⚠️ IMPORTANT CHANGES THIS YEAR:
✅ 100% Digital Registration: To keep our DNR permit compliant, we are moving to online registration. No paper forms will be available at the dunes!
Adults (18+): Each adult MUST register for their own individual ticket to sign their waiver.
Minors: One parent can register all children on their order.
Drivers: If you’re bringing a Jeep, Truck, SXS, or ATV, you’ll need your insurance carrier and policy number ready to go. Yes—the DNR requires insurance for SXS/ATVs for this volunteer event!
✅ Pack Your Buckets: Skip the trash bags! Please bring 5-gallon buckets and work gloves. They are much easier to handle on the sand.
✅ Weather Ready: We are working regardless of the forecast. Rain, snow, or sunshine—we’ll see you on the sand!
