Are you interested in endurance but unsure how to get started? If so, we’re hosting a one-day endurance clinic near Bright Sand Lake, Sask. 

What we'll cover:
1. How and why to take your horse's heart rate with a stethoscope (which we'll provide).
2. How to begin conditioning for your first ride.
3. How to follow a marked trail (including a training ride on a marked trail of about eight miles).
4. How to rate your horse.
5. Handouts with additional info to review.

Cost: Free for those under 18, $20 for adults. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (adult accompanying youth doesn't have to pay). 

What to bring:
1. Your horse (optional).
2. Food for you and your horse.
3. Water for yourself.
4. Helmets (if you're riding).


Riders are welcome to camp out Friday night. Rough camping — water will be available for horses only. Please bring all supplies needed for your horse, including some means of containing them securely.
