The German Riesling is a super-rare treat: 20 year-old sweet Mosel Riesling selected berry by berry to be full of luscious flavor and complexity. BA Riesling is always exciting, but also requires patience - often the wines need a decade or more to really get going. So tasting one at age 20 is just the kind of immediate gratification we all need. Here's Amanda's line-up:

BiancaVigna Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Brut 2024 - Our favorite Prosecco this year, made in a fully dry, crisp style.

Tenimenti Leone Roma Capoccia Bianco DOC 2021 - From the foothills outside of Rome, this blend of Malvasia Puntinata, Bellone, Chardonnay and Verdicchio is wildly savory and complex, a terrific seafood white.

Tee Pa Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2024 - As Wine Spectator said placing this on the 2025 Top 100 list, "Appealing for its generous flavors of mandarin orange, passion fruit, lime zest and yuzu at the core."

Donatella Cinelli Colombini Rosso di Montalcino 2023 - Year-in, year-out, one of our very favorite Rosso di Montalcinos comes from this all-woman winery that add's a touch of grace to Sangiovese Grosso's intense power and heft.

Andeluna Malbec Gualtallary Pasionado 2019 - Showing both the intense and elegant side of Mendoza Malbec. A great holiday dinner red. As Wine Enthusiast says in the 92 point review, “Earthy flavors mixed with chocolate and black fruit for a balanced and smooth palate.”

Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Beerenauslese 2005 - From one of the Mosel's most important winegrowers, this is rich, densely textured, and redolent of white tea, honey, quince and more. The bracing acidity keeps you coming back for more!
