Advent at Immanuel: Close to Home
When something hits close to home, it touches us deeply. During the season of Advent through Epiphany, we journey together through scriptures, prayers, and rituals that invite tenderness, vulnerability, and reflection.
This sacred season holds the weight of memory and the hope of promise. We carry both joy and longing in our hearts as we wait for Emmanuel—God with us.
Close to Home acknowledges the beautiful tension of our faith: God’s presence is already here among us, and yet the fullness of God’s promised day—our everlasting home—has not yet arrived. In this in-between space, we listen, watch, and prepare our hearts for God to draw near once more.
Come journey with us this Advent as we make room for the One who brings love close to home. 🌟
