Dr. Chris Bain is the director of the Art Education Program at the University of Texas at Austin and is known for her expertise in basketry, weaving, and quilting. She is active in both basketry and art education at the national level. In this special workshop, you’ll learn the basics of basketry and create your own small basket — perfect for the fall and winter holidays! You’ll also gain ideas for turning your basket into a “thankfulness vessel” to use throughout the season.
