SOLO Wilderness First Responder Recertification

This two-day recertification course is designed for individuals holding a current Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification through SOLO, WMA, WMI, or other programs that meet SOLO’s criteria. It’s the essential refresher for guides, trip leaders, ski patrollers, camp staff, and outdoor professionals who rely on up-to-date wilderness medical skills in remote settings.

Through hands-on scenarios and practical review, you’ll revisit patient assessment, trauma management, environmental emergencies, and critical decision-making skills—ensuring you’re prepared to respond effectively when it matters most.

⚠️ Please note: Certifications earned exclusively through distance learning programs are not eligible for recertification through SOLO.
