- **Event Description**: Looking to take a try at oddity art? 

Learn the basics on how to build a glass cloche display with natural materials such as dried flowers, mosses, ethically sourced animal bones, preserved insects, minerals, mushrooms, and more. 

In this workshop we will learn about sourcing oddities, how to build strong displays, and be creative in making our own mini worlds with Macy of @mjbugworks!

There will be materials for all tastes and color preferences, and participants are encouraged to create in any way that they wish. For example, if anybody wants to make their display solo with headphones on and have quiet time, they are welcome to do this instead of socializing or listening to music with the group. We are an introvert-friendly environment.

All supplies are included with the workshop and everyone will take home their new piece of beautiful oddity art. Class participants can select all of their own art materials and use creative freedom, with guidance if needed. Crafting supplies and natural materials will be “buffet style” — each student will have a tray to fill up and take back to their seat and create with.
*We will be using acrylic glue with setting spray to secure larger, bulkier items inside of our terrariums. Class participants are encouraged to bring a face mask with them if they are asthmatic or have any respiratory sensitivitie
