The Black History Gallery invites the community to gather in honor of the birthday and enduring legacy of our founder, Mrs. Hilda L. Casin, retired educator, museum curator, and reading advocate.

5:00 PM — BLACK HISTORY GALLERY OPEN HOUSE

Join us as we celebrate 25 years of operation and service to the community — 2001–2026. Tour the Gallery, experience the space, and learn more about our continuing work to preserve and share local Black history.

Open House Admission: Donations of any amount

6:00 PM — TREE PLANTING IN MEMORY OF MRS. HILDA L. CASIN

Following the Open House, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Mu Omega Chapter will hold a special tree-planting ceremony in Mrs. Casin’s memory.
