Welcome to the 2026 Tamale Ride!

This is an all-day ride, round trip to Union Gap for some of the best tamales you’ll ever find. Los Hernandes Tamales. Seating is limited so you might end up eating at your bike. (They sell frozen ones too, so bring a cooler if you have space.)

We’ll depart Jet City HD at 0800, travelling over Chinook Pass we’ll stop briefly at the summit for a rest break before continuing to Union Gap. Additional fuel/bathroom breaks as required by your 56 year old Road Captain.

Route may be adjusted if Chinook Pass is still closed on the ride date.

Following lunch, we’ll stop by Apple State HD before heading home over White Pass and Cayuse Pass, ending at the Pie Goddess in Enumclaw.

You’ll be on your own to get home from there.

Meet at 0745, KSU at 0800. Full tanks and empty bladders.

273 miles, 5 ½ hours of saddle time not including lunch and other stops.
