As America approaches 250 years, we gather not to celebrate one man's spotlight, but to honor what this nation was always meant to be: a living, breathing democracy built by and for all of us.

The afternoon begins at 3PM with a community protest held at the closed Sinclair Station at 14th and Carl Albert in McAlester — because patriotism isn't passive. It's showing up. It's speaking out. It's standing together for the families, the freedom, and the future we believe in.

At 4PM, we move into music, food, and fellowship at Michael J. Hunter Park 1401 E. Chickasaw, because joy is also resistance. Come hungry, come ready to connect, and come as you are.

This is a space for everyone — immigrants and natives, Black and white, trans and cis, young and old. A space that says Black Lives Matter, Trans Rights Are Human Rights, No Human Being Is Illegal, and Build Bridges, Not Walls — not as slogans, but as commitments.

The next 250 years starts right here, in McAlester, with us.
